2015 - Let's get this baby started!

Hello everybody!
Hello nobody!
Hi you!

Ok, you see it's strange to start over again, but I'll get used to it.
This blog is something I've been thinking about for quite some time now, because I started one in 2011, did it for about nine months and then it died peacefully.
Writing is important to me, though and that's why I want to start over again. This is for myself and for my familiy and friends who want to be part of my life. If you comment, you'll be part of my life, too, so please do!

Can we reprogram our world?

The other day, a thought poppped into my head: what if we could use the current global crisis to take a time to re-think, re-structure and re-program our world? If the world was an organically grown software, what would the specification book look like? How could we reprogram it to meet current needs without depending on long overhauled structures and dependencies?

My December: Thailand!

Yay,  I finally finished my video on my trip to Thailand with my sister! It was quite an experience. I had not done a backpacker trip like that before and it was to serve me as one of those trips where you step out of your comfort zone. It was colorful and people were friendly, that part is true. But the backpacking? Well, I'm not a backpacker. I know that now. I don't like to pack and unpack my things every other day. My mood shifts drastically with every hour of transport I have to undergo in order to reach the next place. Travelling with my sister was a new experience. Although we had lived together in a shared flat as adults in the past...

Okay, so I said, I would have the video about our Thailand trip done by now, didn't I? Well, truth be told, it's not done yet! I'm doing a little bit on a regular basis and I'm about half way through the trip. Already, it fills about 18 minutes. It's going to be a nice little souvenir! But...not yet. So patience, please, I'm on it. Somehow, I'm into so many things that it takes a decent amount of planification and and even bigger amount of calmness in these moments when you realize that the day only has so many hours, before sleep hits me like a truck at night. I won't give up to sleep at least 7.5 hours a night, though. Having them is a precious part of being happy in life. So, now, I will be doing my  7 Minute Workout , take a quick shower and head off to play with some building blocks with the kids - let's see if say will understand a bit more today already! To not let you off without anything tangible, let me give you a quick recommendatio...
